The screen on the 9400 Notebook is nice (big enough to
run AB and TWS side by side) and while not as fast as a desktop it
helps you get away from those big boxes and be wireless. My experience with
DELL has been good and those I know who have DELL are happy too. The days of
buying DeskTops are probably gone for me. But, like with any computer i
suspect that you can have bad luck...
Here
in Ottawa/Canada most big stores and most banks run DELL, there are just
tons out there. There must be a reason why there are so many out
there...

About Dell .. On the other hand, I, and
several in our group, have had good experiences with
Dell and the Dell notebooks. Two very
savvy guys just bought wide screen versions, got them on sale,
purchased the
extended warranty and figures they got a
'best buy' based on price and performance over Toshiba, or
other higher priced systems.
On the other, other hand (third hand), my 3.4
GHz HT desktop was assembled by a vendor because I couldn't get exactly
the right configuration motherboard, hard
drives, and video card, from the Dell HT systems that were being
marketed in Feb
of 2005.
