RE: [amibroker] AmiQuote issue

I checked my CSI database, which has 20 years of history, including extinct stocks and changed ticker symbols. There is only one TI, Telecom Italia and it only has history back to 10/9/2003. I thought this might've been Texas Instruments, but that ticker symbol is TXN and has history back to 12/2/1985, the oldest history I have paid for.

There is a TI-I, that goes back to 7/27/1995. This is Telecom Italia ADR and is no longer traded (an "extinct" stock). Your other source must be combing them.

My bad.  I did have three years of data.  What’s weird is Stockcharts.com is showing more than 10 years of data for this stock.

I am seeing this discrepancy for quite a few stocks.  The issue seems to be related to Yahoo then.   Is there a more reliable EOD data source out there that is free?

Seems like TI data is available from 10/9/2003 to present. I assume you have enough data bars allowed in File->Database Settings… It would take around 900.

Hi,

I am seeing only 1 year of data for ticker TI in AmiBroker.  Using AmiQuote, I attempted to download from yahoo the last 10 years forth daily data for TI.  After doing this I still only see 1 years worth of data.  I did make sure I had specified the correct date range.

Any thoughts on what could be going on here?
