Try this:
- Open the "Preferences" window,
- select the "Data" tab 
- and choose, as "Default database path", an existing database.
When you delete a DB, you have to be sure that the deleted DB is not the
default DB.

Thanks for the reply.

I have deleted database folders with MS Explorer but they always 
reappear when AB is restarted.  How did you delete your databases to 
prevent them from reappearing when AM is restarted.
