Hi,
i believe you can do it only through dayofweek.
So newweek = ref(dayofweek(),-1)==7;
A new 4hour period goes not that easy way, because there is no function
available. (as far as i know)
So you have to write it depending on your timeframe.

Subject: [amibroker] week() function? 240min() function?
Hi,
I can currently determine a new day by
Newday = Day() != Ref(Day(),-1); // to indicate a new day
Is there an easy way to code the same for a week, ideally
NewWeek = Week() != Ref(Week(),-1); // to indicate a new week
Or similarly for smaller time frames,
New4hr = 240min() != Ref(240min(),-1); // to indicate a new 4
hour period
Thanks
