Hi ct1942,

I understand not wanting to delete it, but I also understand *not*
wanting to have it running *most* of the time.  Put these registry
files someplace convenient, and then my advice would be to run most
of the time with flash disabled.  It's a whole new world with no
flash. ^_^ For those times when you absolutely need it or want it,
simply double-click the enable file.

These files have worked for me on XP Pro from initial installation
through SP-2 and all security hotfixes ...

Usually, flash is just distracting advertising, and there is enough
of it on many pages now to make even my wide pipe seem narrow at
times.
