Hello,
Range parameter does not affect array length.
All bars are included in calculation anyway to provide consistent results
(some indicators change values when number of bars change).
Range affects only AA output.
BTW: in the future there will be an option to change it.
In the meantime use
Status("lastbarinrange") to find out what bar is last in the selected range
