Hi Dave's,
I have to agree. The navigation problem you have outlined below is
something I've long found inconvenient about the interface. I also
have a watchlist with about 20 to 30 stocks in it, and it makes me
slightly crazy that I cannot navigate through them with a single
keystroke -- unless I give up the privilege of removing the focus
from the ticker tree.
It would be really nice if, somehow, a 'move to next stock in
watchlist' hotkey or something could be implemented -- something that
would work no matter where the focus was.
I suspect most people are like me in that, they are doing a visual
scan of a watchlist, looking at a particular sheet, and they see
something of interest and want to switch sheets for a different
perspective on the same thing. This removes the focus from the
watchlist of course. Then it's rather clumsy to get back to the same
point in the watchlist.
