I do not know if you can do it with all data feeds.
You would need a data feed that AB can obtain the market depth so that
it could try to determine of it was an uptick or a down tick. I
believe this is possible with a streaming data feed to ge the bid and
ask bid prices, and thus work out if the last tick was up or down. A
function GetRTData is available to do this, but it needs streaming
data feed and professional AB version, unfortunately I do not have the
data feed to test this.
Perhaps someone who uses streaming feed can help some more on this Are
Esignal, mytrack or IQfeed streaming?
