I got an Amibroker database with symbols and data from a user in
Czech. I am in the US - West Coast.
But, I have a big problem with the dates that I cannot figure out.
Example:
1. Using Cz database, running in Amibroker 4.7 on my WindowXP
computer.
Aapl, June 1, 2005______Open=40.05, High=40.32, Close=40.04
2. Using my own database:
Aapl, June 1, 2005_______Open=39.89, High=40.76, Close=40.3
Aapl, June 2, 2005_______Open=40.05, High=40.32, Close=40.04
3. Using Bigchart.com
Aapl, June 1, 2005_______Open=40.0, High=40.76, Close=40.3
Aapl, June 2, 2005_______Open=39.96, High=40.32, Close=40.04
Somehow, the quotes are offset by one day on my computer. And the
problem continues. When I update the quotes, from Yahoo, the
problem persists. Friday Dec. 9 quotes are shown as the quotes for
Dec 8. And it is not possible to get any quotes for the 9th. But
if I update the quotes in my other database it works Ok.
I guess it has to do with the difference between Czechoslovakia and
US., but I can't figure out anything to do about it.
