Yes of course, but
actually things have changed (for better) a bit since last time I mentioned it.
Initially I was thinking about 2 processor/core support in optimization module only,
but thanks to the fact that Visual Studio 2005 supports OpenMP architecture,
it is possible to implement parallel execution deep inside AFL engine (on single function level),
so ALL areas would benefit (not only optimization).
As to whenever 64 bit will come before 2 CPU/core support
- it has changed too - since my goal is to have single code base
- they will all be developed at the same time.
I am doing some experiments right now with various parallelization methods
(including multiple threading but not only, I am also considering using SSE/SSE2
instructions that allow parallel execution even on single core/cpu)
so I can not give you exact date right now, but March 2006 is realistic.
Best regards,
Tomasz Janeczko
