A year or so ago, there was a recommendation from TJ to
launch AB twice,
first for your RT data (point it to the IB database)
and for the second
launch point it to the Yahoo EOD database.

Or you could have two separate instances of AB in
separate directories as
does this fellow Cliff s.

Apparently there doesn't seem to be any conflicts
although there was
some precautionary talk about that on the forum.

Hope this helps

I run AmiQuote with 2 instances of AB. AmiQuote is doing a download every
5 min from Yahoo and the other is real time from QuoteTracker(Scottrade
streamer feed).
The trick is to start the instance of AB that uses
AmiQuote first, then start the real time version, in my case AB with
the QuoteTracker plugin. I use 8 charts on the screen from Quote- Tracker
and just let Yahoo update through AmiQuote on the other instance which scans
every 5 min a database of 300 stocks.
I don't know if this is what you
want but it works for
me.

  Subject: [amibroker] Data Download

I would like to acquire RT data from IB and EOD data from
Yahoo where I can have an unlimited number of issues and also get mutual
fund data (unavailable in IB). So far I can't figure out how to set that
  up. Can it be done
  ?
