your welcome. As long as the Interpretation window shows "transmit: 0" then the orders will only be sent to the TWS. The parameter window can be used to toggle between "transmit: 0" and "transmit: 1".    "transmit: 1" obviously will send the orders to the exchange.

Somewhere I seem to have run across a reference saying that AmiBroker was working on a front-end connection to IB TWS for creating orders directly from AmiBroker. Is there any truth in this?
