Good idea Rik, thanks. It looks like there is a
difference in the way MSN codes tickers and Yahoo. IE Yahoo uses indexes with ^
in front of symbol and some symbols like .SP 500 is ^GSPC in Yahoo
and might be something else in MSN?
Is there an easy way to handle the
indexes?

EST and still no Friday historical data from yahoo is available. Current
data runs okay. Sure hope its fixed tonight. Historical data download
allows for errors, distributions, etc. to be fixed. And I would
suppose ( speculation on my part) that if Friday's data is
missing, probably no updates have been completed since last Thursday. Just
to reiterate, this only applies to historic yahoo, not current
yahoo. Dave
