Did you also set the alias in Symbol->Information in Amibroker?
If that doesn't work, try it reversed where ^DJI is the primary symbol
and the IB version is the alias. I do this on my system, but it's
Scottrade instead of IB. I know someone doing exactly what you do and it
works.

Subject: [amibroker] Amiquote symbol problem

I use IB for my intraday data. I use yahoo historical for my EOD data.
I have a database that is set for EOD and intraday. My problem is that
the IB symbol for ^DJI is INDU-NSYE-IND. I cannot load in the EOD
historical data. For stocks, I have no problem because the symbols are
the same. I have tried to use Amiquote symbol translation table. I put
in ^DJI,INDU-NYSE-IND on one line. However, it does not load in the
Yahoo historical data. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Tom
