It would have helped if you had included the format. This is an
example for using Import Wizard to create an indices used in
VectorVest. But the same applies. The output of this Excel file is
saved in .csv format.

Ticker	Date Open	High	Low	Close	Volume
^VVC	10/31/2005	24.022	24.453	23.877	24.241	685568
^VVC	10/28/2005	23.716	24.108	23.517	23.959	628613
^VVC	10/27/2005	23.989	24.138	23.511	23.664	626061
^VVC	10/26/2005	24.065	24.38	23.802	24.011	671087
^VVC	10/25/2005	24.128	24.348	23.797	24.082	609510

When you import this file you would need to match the date format,
MDY or everything gets screwed up. Skip the first line or you will
get errors. Then change the Group to Indices, if you are importing
stock then the Group would be stock.

Make the necessary changes to your file to make it look similar. If
the fields are not the same in your data you must change Import
Wizard fields to match the fields you are importing. That would be
easier than moving them in Excel.

If that does not help please include the data you are trying to
import so we can see what needs to be done.

Cheers,
Barry
