However when I move a file using this procedure it appears that the
link from an existing chart to this file is broken.
Specifically: I have re-arranged files by moving them to subfolders,
all from WITHIN the chart tree: Right click the original folder
(which is itself a subfolder of the Custom folder) --> New folder,
then move files as instructed:
"simply DRAG it in CHART TREE with RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON"
to the new subfolder.
When I then Right click--> Edit formula an existing chart pane it
says "File does not exist" and references the original location from
where the file was moved.
Shouldn't operations within the chart tree (as opposed to those in
WinExplorer) automically re-establish these links?
