Actually prefers oldest to newest, but I don't think it is import
because 'g' wrote that import went fine.
For me it is just very complex chart formula used.
3 years of 1-minute data depending on market must be >500000 bars.
This MUST take some time to process especially when formulas used
are complex.
Simply wait until it finishes. If CPU is 100% it means that it is
still busy calculating. Just wait.
