what version do you see in the Tools-Plugins

I'm making heavy weather of this.
I download the file to the plugins folder, then to check that I have done it properly I right-click the IB.dll file, choose Properties, and I see that I have version
1.4.2.0, not v 1.4.3.
What am I doing wrong?
Actually this should read:
"you can get maximum last 2000 seconds of 1-second ticks
, maximum last 10000 seconds 5-second bars, maximum last 30000 seconds of 15-second bars
and maximum of 5 DAYS of 1-minute bars. "

The READ ME already explains this:
Click on the link, scroll down and read:
"For example you can get maximum 2000 1-second ticks
, maximum 10000 5-second bars, maximum 30000 15-second bars
and maximum of 5 DAYS of 1-minute bars. "
This is TWS limitation. Read also their message board, for example:
I do not experience any slow down, btw.

Barry, you might try clearing your temporary files from Internet Explorer Options dialog.
Tomasz, I tried the new plug-in last night on the IB demo account and AB got very sluggish. When I tried to back fill
EUR.USD and one of the currency futures, it still didn't even give me one full day of ticks (using the realtime version). I had the two symbols in the RT Quotes window and could see their prices changing.
Also, since I had not tried connecting to IB for some time, there were old ticks in my data from a month ago. I tried opening the quote editor dialog to remove the old quotes, but it responded so slowly that I gave up. I did not notice any of this behavior with the previous version of the plug-in. Sorry I don't have more repro steps for you at this time, but I wanted to get this out there to see if others see similar performance.
You mention in the Readme that it gives a 5-day backfill. Is this 5 days worth of ticks? Is the 5-day time frame true regardless of the period setting on your chart? In other words, if I have a daily chart showing, do I still only get 5 days of data?
Thanks,
Brian

Are you sure the 1.4.3 link is there?

Yep, I had done that already, still only 1.4.2. Are you sure the 1.4.3 link is there?
Please ALWAYS click "REFRESH" button in your browser, if you see old content.
Best regards, Tomasz Janeczko
