[amibroker] Difference between Printf and Alertif?

Hi,

I was wondering if I were to use Printf, will it show up in my ALERT WINDOW while I run AA?

The reason why I ask is because I would like to modify the Date/Time
field to only show as Time only.  I can do this using printf but
not with alertif.  Am I correct?
