It wasn't the answer I was looking for, but it's okay for my purposes.
It brings up a new question, though. Does this same condition exist
for ALL chart settings? For example, my preference is to display
charts with candlesticks but I also follow some mutual funds that
would display better as lines. Would I have to re-set the
preferences for ALL of my charts to display as lines just to get the
mutual funds to display that way if I want to open them up as a
layout?
