[amibroker] How to Detect Crossing Trendline

I can't get the study function to work for me to detect crossing a
trend line.  I have a watchlist of stocks and setup trendlines on most
of these charts.  

My simple AFL program is:
    //test of studies

    //for AA scan
    myline	= Study("SL");
    Sell = Cross(myline,Close);

    //for commentary window
    printf(" Stoploss " + WriteIf(sell," yes ", " no ") );

    //for explore
    Filter=1;
    AddColumn(Sell,"Sell Alert",1.0);

I've run scans, explores, and commentary runs - with no hits, even
when I've forced trendlines to cross the close. Help?
