I have updated the industry lists for Nasdaq and NYSE
Just download the zip files frm
Instructions are included in the zip files.
I can suggest before updating that you move all your existing symbols out of either group0 or market0 so that if any new symbols are added from my ticker list you can see them easily. The preferrred stocks and indices may have different symbols to yours.
Ignore the date on the web page, have not bothered to change te update date yet. The stock lists industry allocation I used was last revised 29 Aug so should be fairly up to date. No guarantee that the lists are 100% as it has been a while since I did an update and the master and perhaps some data I used has changed file name. I will hopefully be checking this oveer the weekend and revise the site files.
