see the tutorial about IB Plug-in on www.amibroker.com. it and the IB web
site explain EXACTLY what you need for the different exchanges and their
symbols. once you get that it's pretty simple.
IB has had issues this last week. for a while last week there was NO data,
and backfill for last Wed or Thur is not available.

Hi,
I just started using IB data -- the IB plug-in. I encountered a
couple of issues --
first, it was tricky getting the symbol right. For the mini-Dow,
YMU05, the only entry that results in data retrieval was
YM SEP 05@xxxxx
YMU05 didn't work, etc.
All of the data retrieved for this symbol -- and subsequently
INDU@xxxx -- we're 36.75 or 36.76 -- no numbers related to the real
action of the instruments.
Also, the data didn't backfill, so if I started at 10:24, I had bars
from then forward. I was looking to get at least yesterday's data.
It's probably an error on my part with the symbols and/or back-fill
settings. Any help would definitely be appreciated!
