I totally agree, Yahoo Groups are practically
worthless online with their lame search scheme.  Set up your Yahoo group
membership preferences to send individual emails to your Hotmail account, for
example.  For $20 per year I have a Hotmail account with 2GB of
storage.  Or use GMail.  Either way, you can search a lot easier in an
email folder.  The problem then is getting a backfill of all of the
messages to date...

Plus, for me anyway, the ability to receive messages as
e-mails is very important. I have other TA software with boards but no
e-mail, and I *never* even go there. I tried EliteTrader for about 2 days,
but for me, it is just too agravating  to spend my time going through
the different forums to see if there is anything new. It is *so* much
easier to just blow through the e-mails in my inbox. I guess I am
  spoiled    8 - )
