Backfill and Amibroker
Here is their system status report:
At 10:39 EST IB's Primary
internet provider experienced a technical issue causing service outages which
affected market data and TWS login issues. Another event occured at 12:04pm
EST. IB has switched to a backup provider. Historical market data will be
unavailable for the remainder of the day. All other IB systems are functioning
normally.

IB Backfill and Amibroker
First I want to say how I've come to rely on
AmiBroker. It is a great
tool! I use the Interactive Brokers data
feed for real time data.
Until today, IB backfilled (added on) the previous
day's quotes in the
data file on my computer. Today, I traded in
the morning and logged
off about 11am. When I returned at 3pm, I
could not get AB to
backfill from IB. I get the IB message:
"only one simultaneous
historical backfill request allowed."
What I had on my screen is data
prior to 11am and data starting at the time of the
second login. It
doesn't download the four hours I was away from
the machine. Anyone
run into this and what may I be doing wrong?
