I just created an exploration with 15 custom
columns in addition to the default Ticker, and Date columns.
When I maximize the Exploration, I want all of the
columns to be visible without having a horizontal scroll bar appear. There is
only ONE custom column that requires the use of the scroll bar.
The default column widths are excessively
wide. My column headers are only three characters wide, and the displayed data
in the columns is a maximum of four digits wide plus a decimal point. However,
the default column width looks wide enough to display 7 or 8 digits.
If there is a way to make these custom
columns narrow enough for only 6 digits wide, then I would be able to see
all 15 custom columns without the need for excel to create a scroll
bar.
Another way to gain some column width is to
reduce the huge amount of wasted width in the Ticker column.
I am Excel challenged, so I would appreciate
hearing detailed advice of how to make these column widths less
wide. Ron D
