I wanted to find out how long it takes to execute so I put a for loop around it and got error...

Syntax error, probably missing semicolon at end of previous line

 

 

the line where error is found is:

function xxxx(...)

 

and only letter " f" prints before error.

 

Anyone seen this behaviour before? 

I do have several sections commented out with /* ... */.  The behaviour of  /* ... */ I have not completely undestood.  wonder if that's a problem?
