I am not sure what software you are talking about - if Metastock - please
contact Metastock support and/or user group.
As for QCharts - it is not intended to be used as EOD service.
If you want to run explorations on large number of stocks
I suggest using TC2005 instead (they offer daily quotes but with updates during the day
- update takes few minutes only for all listed US securities).
You can even update within few minutes using free Yahoo data.
