Hi.
I’m trying to use Portfolio Manager to track some
paper trades for forward testing. Portfolio Manager has some useful
features, but it appears to have some limitations. So, first the
questions…
n It shows trade
entry information. Is there a way to capture trade exit information?
n When you
export the Portfolio Manager data, it is in a format that is exceedingly difficult
to parse and store in an analytical format (database, Excel, etc.).
See below for example output. Is there a way (perhaps an
exploration) that can capture the data contents of the Portfolio Manager in a
spreadsheet format?
Assuming that the answers to the above two questions is “No”,
then…
PORTFOLIO MANAGER ENHANCEMENT REQUEST FOR TOMASZ:
n Please add ability
to capture trade exit information.
n Please add export
to text file in spreadsheet (columnar) format.
Thanks and regards,
Dan.
