but what the heck do you want to do with the ticker you "select" - this is the last time I try to extract info from you - most frustrating.

If I type in the letters "YHOO" into the ticker toolbar I
have "selected" the ticker YHOO from my database, a new child window
does not appear in the parent window of Amibroker. However if I use
the AB COM server and use the statement oAB.Open("YHOO") a new child
window will open in the parent AB with the ticker YHOO, and a new
child window will open every time I use the statement oAB.Open
(ticker). All those child windows are annoying. I apologize for my
unclear previous messages.
