you have yet to define what the heck you mean by "select"!!  What do you want to do?   be specific.

The problem is you cannot use COM to "select" a ticker. Unfortunately
the AB Object Model will open a new window every time you execute the
following:

    Set oAB = New Broker.Application

    Set oABD = oAB.Documents

oABD.Open ("HD")  'Open Ticker opens a new window

    Set oABD = Nothing

    Set oAB = Nothing

I would like to "select" a ticker rather than open a new window every
time I need a different ticker. Also, the same AB Object Model opens
a new window if you write the code in jscript, wscript, or VB.
