Hi Joe,
1. (a) I'm about as lazy as they get - I would suggest the easiest
way is to type the tags in by hand: eg, type: <pre> then copy + paste
your code into the Edit box then type </pre> to close it off - that
really is the simplest way...
(b) Yes, <pre> is part of HTML so you remember correctly - it
appears you can use some HTML tags in Wiki (which would make sense).
2. The TOC appears to be created automatically by Wiki just before
you insert the first "Level 2 Heading" (the big "A" icon) - I was not
aware that it would do this (I was just trying to put in some bold
section headings).
3. No I was just playing - I haven't looked at the instructions (I
suppose I should RTFM before I start adding anything else). ....... ok
now I just had a look at the manual on sections - looks like I used them
inadvertently :)
I would suggest you experiment in the sand box with that
sections/category stuff - it is fairly straight forward I think.
The basic procedure I used was just to paste the text and code into the
editor and append <br> tags where you need new lines, put <pre> tags
around your code and == section == markings around titles. I'm not sure
if that is the right way to do it though.
Dan.
