You must have 'bars to load' set way too low; I get from 12/31/04 with a
1-min DB.
ESignal allows mixed EOD, so the DB will contain daily bars from '95.

I'm not particularly an expert on eSig + AB but here is what I have
experienced:
AB instructs eSignal to download data based on the time period you
specify in Files > Database Settings > Base Time Interval. If you
have set this to 1 min or 5 min eSig will download somewhere around 10
days of 5 minute bars - thats all.
You can't get 6 months of intraday data that I know of. AmiBroker will
aggregate the 5 min bars into daily bars and plot those for you, but
only up to the few days of 5 min bars available.
If you want 6 months of daily bars, you have to create a SEPARATE eSig
database with the Base Time Interval set to End-of-Day. Then eSig
goes to their EOD quote server (different from their RT servers) and
gives you daily bars. It is possible to retrieve years of daily bars
in this mode.
