Hello,

This is caused by the TWS that delivers backfill data in 60-second interval or less.
TWS does not support backfills with intervals > 1 minute.

See:
http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/software/apiReleaseNotes/apiBetanotes.php

However, STREAMING data collected by the plugin are compressed according
to the setting and intervals higher than 1 minute are supported and if you collect real-time streaming data
over some time you will see that settings are preserved.

Anyway since backfill is 1-minute or less I suggest to set up your database using
1-minute interval and use View->Intraday menu to switch between all other interval
ON-THE-FLY. This is highly recommended, faster and most flexible setup.

Best regards,
Tomasz Janeczko
