for anyone interested. I Emailed eSignal asking about this (split adjusted intraday data) and they answered:

"Unfortunately, we are unable to correct our Intraday History at this time. This is the reason splits and other errorneous data in Intraday History are not adjusted. We are working on tools to allow us to correct this information and hope to have this available in the near future. Thank you for your patience in regards to this matter. . "

"We hope to have this available before the end of the year."

Subject: Re: [amibroker] esignal -> Split

from the eSignal site I learn:

"Unfortunately, at this time, eSignal does not adjust for Splits or dividends on our Intraday charts (Tick & Interval). "

is there a way to avoid this in Amibroker. Because this actually makes backtesting rather hard (if not impossible),

Subject: [amibroker] esignal -> Split

hi,

now about to seriously do some backtesting with intraday data how does one generally treat a split with eSignal data.

Once you perform a split in Amibroker and then force a backfill you get the "unsplitted" data back again. How does one treat this problem?

thnx, rgds, Ed
