In AFL library there are few examples of pattern recognition - for
instance, "double top detection" etc. All of them are based on zig-zag
indicator which is looking into the future - it makes impossible to use
it in backtesting. I understand that the problem of special figures
recognition is rather complex, but is there another way to do it
without zig-zag indicator? More general question - if someone know some
references to theory and coding of pattern recognition - flags,
double,triple tops/bottoms etc?
With kind regards, Dmitri
