[amibroker] Switching off IB plugin via OLE automation (Advanced)

Hi all,

I have a mixed EOD/intraday database of about 3000 stocks. I feed this
db with IB plugin, and also every minute i have an automation script
import daily bar data from yahoo into this database and then run an
exploration with filter=1. However, when i run the exploration with IB
connection active, IB plugin attempts to backfill all symbols, and
runs into the 100 symbol limit, a major annoyance. Is there a way to
shutdown the IB connection via OLE automation, so i can then perform
the import and exploration and then reconnect to IB all via the OLE
automation script? Anyone have any other advice on this setup?
