Yes this is a BIG issue!
Not only does the plug-in currently not "refresh" the connection upon
connection loss, but also after midnight server reset at IB, data feed
is not restored automatically.
Worse yet, sometimes right clicking the reCONNect button implies
connection by being green, while in reality there is NO data being
accepted on the charts NOR yellow background on the RT Quote window.
I have been struggling with this issue for a while now but deicded
to wait untill I get some answers to other questions I have pending
with tech support.
As far as the Java porgrams posted, the one I thought did the most
complete job by the description (IBController V2.2.rar) I could not
get to run not knowing enough about Java syntax.

is there a way to have AB automatically restore a connection to IB's
TWS after it has lost connection ie. red "ERR" code bottom right
without having to right click and select Reconnect?
If not, would this be something others would like to see as additional
functionality to the IB plugin?
if so...can someone point me to the right place.
There are a few programs out there like TWSSTART and IBController and
Autologin programs all found on IB TWS API Yahoo group that autologin
to TWS, click cancel on the TIPS dialog. Reconnect etc.
Could this be something that's helpful...if so, please let Tomasz
know.
