Like some others, I use AB off my thumb drive and it works just fine.
The only thing that does need some tweaking is if you use custom
scripts and place them in the menu bar (ie Tools->Customize) These
settings are stored in the registry.
Other than that, AB has nothing lacking when used on a thumb drive.
But even that is not such a pain, since the scripts you'll use are
most likely in your AB dir anyway, and you can just run them through
WindowsExplorer.
