What threw me was that in MS, using the same code, there's no value
plotted for the first 20 bars. So I guess that Amibroker is giving me
precisely what I asked for, while MS gives me what I really want.:)
Something to be careful about, though. Using that code example, false
signals can be generated before there's actually enough data for a
genuine signal. I guess a simple workaround would be to add something
to the original condition, along the lines of "AND BarsSince(C=C)>20".
