You
can thicken lines by looping the plot a few times with a small +/- offset
applied each time. Unless your application is very time-critical this works
nicely.

I had asked Tomasz for
thicker lines quite some time ago, but I guess at the time there was not
enough interest.
My application was also pivots and thicker lines would
be very useful.
Also, "stylethick" works on a CRT monitor, but not on a
LCD.
So having "styleverythick" and "styleextrathick" would indeed be a
great help.
