Re: [amibroker] AFLSAFE Files?

I am using 4.56 beta, Professional.

A couple of weeks ago, Amibroker, refused to shutdown.  I don't remember the subsequent sequence of events, but I finally got the computer to do a restart.
When I opened up Amaibroker again, the various custom indicators that I had showing in my 60 chart tabs were blank.  When I then clicked on EDIT, nothing was there, and the name had reverted to the default name of NEW INDICATOR#xxx.
Some of these custom indicators were never saved to the hard drive.

I am not interested in using any of the lost ones again, but if I were, are they also probably saved in ALSAFE FILES?
If so, where would I look to find them again. I opened most of the folders within Amibroker itself, and saw no files named ALSAFE. Ron D

They are created every time you edit an AFL. They are then used only IF you crash.
It's safe to delete them.

Don't think I crashed that many times, so mostly whatevers--in any case will
dump them.

These are the internal backup files in case AB crashed while editing or
whatever.

I've somehow created a bunch of xxx.aflsafe files which appear identical to
their xxx.afl counterparts.

Anyone know what's with them?
