I would second what Duke stated. For interested in trading
commodities, bond futures, foreign markets, and other "beyond
retail" type vehicles, Bloomberg, and possibly Bridge are really
about the only sources.

what may be the widest array of instruments, indices, currencies and
economic indicators available. The bad news is that it is one of the
most expensive. However, if you want to price any instrument, in any
currency, in any market it is a couple of keystrokes. You can pull
all of this through their Excel DDE interface and appears to be
available as an API. With Amibrokers ease of charting and its
backtesting capabilities this would be one serious tool for research
and development.
