Hello,
I am having some trouble in connecting the universal DDE with an
Italian source: the "Quick Trade" platform from IW bank.
The DDE Syntax (read from Excel) of the June 05 Euro FX contract
(CME) is the following:
=IWDDE|STOCK_PRICE!'144898?contractPrice'
where the ticker symbol should be "144898" and the field name
should be "contractprice"
When a friend of mine used Metaserver RT in order to get the data
for another charting program, used the following options:
DDE: IWDDE (that should be the server...)
DDE TOPIC : STOCK_PRICE (What is this?....)
DDE ITEM: 144898?contract price.
