[amibroker] How does AB calculate ADX for a mutual fund

Tomasz,

I'm asking this here because I thought there might be a general
interest in your answer.

If I recall correctly, ADX is calculated using the positive and
negative directional movement indicators which use both yesterday's
and today's high, low and close. Since a mutual fund has only one
price a day,

Question 1: For a mutual fund where today's price is higher than
yesterday's, does AB use yesterday's close as the low for today and
the close today for both the high and the close in its calculation?
(and for yesterday's values, use the close two day's ago as the low
and yesterday's close for the high and the close).

Question 2: Then if I'm looking at a weekly (same question for a
monthly chart), does AB use the close one week ago and the close
today as in question 1 above? Or does AB find the maximum and the
minimum for the week and use them as the respective high and low in
the calculation of ADX?

Thank you,

Bill
