Yes, the IBc can be used with the DEMO TWS (if that is what you mean). In fact it is recommended you start this way. Be aware that data from the DEMO TWS is not the same as that coming from a real TWS, it is much slower and you access only a limited number of tickers.

 

If you run the code with the

ibc = GetTradingInterface("IB");

command the IBc will automatically connect to the TWS, you'll see the IB Controller window open up - can't miss it.

I just downloaded 4.7 with IB inerface.

Have IB up latest ver. and items checked.

Can this be connected in DEMO version??

On AMI can not find a CONNECT or Disconnect icon.
