I'm probably doing this wrong. I ran into a couple problems while doing
development work on a new indicator. I dragged price into a pane(1) and
then dragged bollinger bands into the pane(1). Ok so far.
I needed to edit the BB so I modified it and saved it with a new name. How
do I delete the old BB from the chart? Delete is greyed out. I had to
drag another price over which created a new pane(2) and then I could throw
away the previous work by clicking the X to close the old pane(1). Doesn't
sound like the right way.
I dragged the new indicator into the pane(2) with price in it. Ok, I
think. More editing of the indicator was needed. I did that, the
indicator in the pane did not update. Was a refresh needed at this
point? Again I couldn't delete the indicator or get it to update so I went
around the loop again.
Very frustrating! I've read the 2004 newsletter and watched the
video..again; but of course they do not cover this topic. I guess everyone
else must write perfect code the first time....
Anyway I could use some help here.
