I have been trying to set up my 2nd computer for my intraday database
connecting to QT. I am no novice, nor totally computer illiterate but
I have had problems getting AB to recognise that QT is running.
Got a BIG brainwave this moring, check the help available, so went to
AB website and clicked on QT html help and there it said
"VERY IMPORTANT: QuoteTracker has to be CONFIGURED so its internal
server is running. Click here for the explanation."
Another mouse click and in QT prefs - Misc - Turn on QT acting as
server" and presto, all working
Why say this here...............because there have been others asking
about why AB cannot connect to QT and here is the obvious
answer..........read the help screens available
