If I am right, one of the reason is Tradestation has a deeper learning
curve. As a newbie, I am serious to learn more packages also. I am sure some
people can give you an in-depth answer which I also like to know.

Subject: [amibroker] Use Tradestation in place of
Esignal/MyTrack/Amibroker/Sierra

Hi,
 I don't understand why shouldn't I be using Tradestation in place of
all these various products which are not integrated properly?

IB
====================
Cheap brokerage and free data but no storage and backfill of data

Esignal
=========
Good data but expensive and charting package free

Sierra
===========
Only Charting Package no free data

Mytrack
===========
Cheaper data but no good charting package and not a cheap broker

Amibroker
==============
Only Good Chartin Package, No data and no Brokerage service.
Free data available via IB but can't store it easily and even then no
backfill.
With QT it may be able to backfill and get relatime data via IB but
does not work at the moment.

Hence I would suggest compare all the prices and add them up as a
monthly charge. You would come to the conclusion Tradestation is the
best and cheapest.

$99 dollars a month, state of art platform/charting/testing etc,
Cheap brokerage with free data as well. Chnace of this $99 being
waived too if you do lots of trade in a month.

Now why should I use Esignal and pay them $99 just for data and
charting?

Why use any amibroker/sierra or mytrack when total cost comes moe
than $99 whatever way you trade unless you do only 2-3 symbols which
is impractical anyway.

Let me know your thoughts guy??

Thanks
Choco
