[amibroker] How to use a text list to load stocks and options data and run a filter

I'm new to using Amibroker and hopefully this will be an easy
question. I have searched the documentation and can't find anything
except the SetForeign command. So here is what I want to do. I have a
text file with a list of stocks and options symbols that I want to
read in, one at a time, do some filtering on each symbol and then
write out the results in another text file. I see the commands for
reading and writing the files, but what's not obvious is the way to
load each stock and option data into the data arrays so I can filter
them. Again the only command I can see is the SetForeign command. Is
this the correct way of doing this? I'm not interested in graphing any
of the results.
